Tom Johnson

Tom Johnson (b.1991) is a photographer based in London, England. Tom grew up in a small village in Oxfordshire, at sixteen he began bunking off school, getting the train to London and learning from his favourite photographers. In 2012 he went to America to assist two photographers on Magnum project 'Postcards From America'. Tom's work was first noticed when he bought a 1980's motorhome and travelled up and down the UK photographing the cultures and communities that make Britain. After a brief period at the London College of Communication he left and opened BOX - a multi-use creative space in Shoreditch.
